{Real Parties} A Tea Shoppe Party with a Hint of Hello Kitty

One of my absolute favorite things to see is someone take a popular or conventional theme and give it their own twist. Bird Crafts did just that! She had been itching to create a party around Hello Kitty and here is her pink and red interpretation with a dash of aqua blue!

Hop on over to Bird Crafts to see more pictures from the photo shoot! Bird Crafts also has a wonderful Etsy store where she sells her creative party printables.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

{Real Parties} A Wedding Day Picnic Full of Lovely Details

This incredibly gorgeous picnic is one of the loveliest table settings I have ever seen...and it comes to us all the way from Spain! The details are sweet and simple, but elegant at the same time. Nina of Designs by Nina styled a beautiful picnic table for her wedding...

I was thrilled to see this intimate picnic in my inbox and to discover Designs by Nina!

{Real Parties} Mary Poppins!

Photobucket

Oh my goodness! This is such a precious party with an even cuter theme...Mary Poppins! Danielle of Belleza e Luce thought of every detail while planning her daughter's 4th birthday party...

Photobucket

I love how elegant the children's table is! Mary and Bert placecards greeted the little guests. The boys found a skimmer hat at their site while the girls received white gloves and straw brimmed hats.

How great are the umbrellas hanging from trees?!

And the chimney backdrop is fabulous!

The gray straws were adorned with tags that read "Jolly Holiday" and "Chim Cheree"

I really like how Danielle placed the favors. Instead of more sweets for the kids, the favors consisted of items pertaining to the movie...

sidewalk chalk so they could "jump into their chalk drawings"
ceramic piggy bank with two pennies for them to "save their tuppence"
eyelet wrapped bag of bird seed to "feed the birds"

Thank you Danielle for sharing your party with us! These are just a handful of the party pictures, so be sure to visit Belleza e Luce to see MANY more along with lots of details. The party also featured a great dessert table and Danielle shares many pictures of the sweets. You won't want to miss her post!

{Real Parties} Kate Lander's Mermaid Party

Breathtaking was the word that came to mind after seeing the photos from the mermaid party created by the incredibly talented Kate Lander's! I could sit here and type descriptions of each picture, but I truly would not do the party justice. On Kate's blog, she describes the party with impeccable detail and offers numerous pictures for you to see. You MUST head to Kate's blog and see for yourself! You will be in awe!

These are just a sampling of the many pictures Kate shares on her site! Thank you Kate for serving as an inspiration to so many of us!!

{Real Parties} A Pink & Orange Celebration for Emerson!

My friend, Amanda, hosted the cutest and brightest birthday party for her little girl, Emerson. You will love all of the pink and orange...perfect for any age!

Amanda made the precious wreath that greeted guests at the door.

The colorful food table with lots of pink and orange treats.

Love the cake balls! Bite size treats for the kids made by Ashley Hall.

Not only is the cake gorgeous, but the stand itself is fabulous too!

This just might be my favorite part due to the creativity! Amanda set out orange and pink lemonade crystal light packets and asked guests to "make their drinks pink or orange!"

Happy first birthday sweet Emerson! You and your brother's parties are always sure to be stylish. Check out her son, Hudson's, doughnut party I wrote about last year. Emerson's baby shower was perfectly pink as well!
