{Real Parties} A Darling Vintage Inspired Baby Shower

Photobucket

My friend, Lili, of Swanky Chic Fete, recently helped style the most darling vintage baby shower for a friend. Lili and Nina, the party hostess, did not leave one detail out. The pictures show that they shower was heartfelt and that the ladies spent a lot of time to make the party special for their friend. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful photos of the event...

The party hosts used many items from Nina's house for the decor. Nina's home has a French Country feel which lent beautifully to the theme. I am smitten with the drink station!

The adorable paper mache flowers were found at Hobby Lobby and used throughout the space; several were hung on the front door and a few more were hung above the kitchen island.

The wire baby carriage was a Home Goods find a few years back!

I absolutely love the use of this weathered piece of furniture that served as a holder for the Argentinian sandwiches.

The favors were soaps hung on branches that anchored the food display. I love how they picked an unusual spot to display the favors instead of by the door when for people to grab as they left!

The menu sounded delicious and they were definitely not short on sweets! Mini eclairs, creme puffs, cupcakes, cookies, french macarons, cake pops and chocolate fondue with strawberries, marshmallows and rice crispy treats on sticks.

I love the mason jars! Very vintage, yet classy.

I love following your blog for inspiration and ideas. I used some of the ideas I saw on your blog in planning my son’s 4th birthday party – http://danielledeskins.blogspot.com/2011/06/colins-pizzeria.html.

Thanks,
Danielle

Beautiful party, it looks absolutely gorgeous!

Did someone make those fabric flowers? Any tutorials or tips for them? They are cute!

Also, I love the little stroller holding the pretzels, where is that from?

Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful how the vintage serving ware and home decor items were woven into the overall styling. Beautiful! Love the nostalgic "Little Golden Book," too. :-)
